The 75mm Carbo Ratchamatic Worm is a load controlled ratchet worm that runs freely in both directions under light load; the ratchet engages automatically as the load increases. When the auger is placed on a deck in landscape mode, it can function as a translation auger. The transition from ratchet mode to low wind mode is clean and seamless. The switching load can be adjusted quickly and easily. The auger is made of high-strength, lightweight Carbo composite. The eight phases of the hard-coated anodized plate can generate a holding force of up to 15:1.
